It`s about time I posted...

I have been neglecting this blog dreadfully...so here is an update...I am still plugging away at Indian Garden...above is my progress to date...I am unsure if I am going to put the narrow outer border on it...I am so tempted to just finish off the flowers and say it`s done...the wider border was a royal pain to do...so many colours and little fiddly bits...as much as I love the colours in this, I am more than ready to work on a sampler for a change...

Speaking of samplers...I bid on a Loara Standish kit (minus the linen, which was perfect `cause I have a stash large enough to outlast me) on e-bay...I didn`t get it though...I know I can buy it, but at $190.00 Canadian for the least expensive one, I can`t see me ever being able to afford it...so if anyone out there has just the chart and instructions for Loara Standish or Jane Bostocke that they would be willing to part with for a reasonable price, could you let me know please?

To answer your question Anna (and thanks for tuning in to read this slackers blog, btw) the Indian Garden pillow is in New Stitches issue # 147 (it`s featured on the cover)...a word of advice..i`d recommend photocopying the charts instead of trying to use the original ones in the mag...you will be folding and unfolding the copies too, so maybe a couple of sets..flipping back and forth in the mag is just too much of a pain, and it`s slippery to hold on to also...

Now for some personal stuff ( which I try to keep to a minimum), I am flying back to Canada on the 6th, and won`t be on-line consistently, so don`t be surprised if I don`t update for awhile...I won`t have net access for at least a couple of weeks, unless I can find a cyber cafe that is...I also am having a biopsy done on a lump in my breast...I have to admit, i`m a little freaked out by this...and my divorce will be final at the end of this month...I need to tie up some loose ends with my ex, and am not looking forward to it...can you say stress management?

Later ladies...keep stitching...
