Last night I stitched a corner of a room with 3722, a deep apricot taupe, and with 3328, a shade that is brighter and peachier, and now, tonight, for a stairwell bordering this juicy room, I put in 972.
Do you know 972?
This chrome is a yellow you could walk to China on, a bounty for which you could stamp your foot right through the floor when the princess, who`s been spinning strands of 972, inquires,"You like this color Rumpelstiltskin?"
I like this color, Princess.
For this majestic gold I will keep my temper. Stay here. Say you win. Be your servant, be your slave, just to keep in touch with all this egg-yolk yellow, just to keep my hands on all this glory stuff. ~ Stephen Beal
And what is a stitch for? To hold. It binds past to present, old country to new, generation to generation.
