Mary Hurst and this and that

I have been hopping around stitching on my samplers a bit, and I decided to dig out Mary Hurst. I finally am done with the whitework section for now, except for the satin stitches which I will put in last so I don`t snag them. I really like the floss colours on this fabric, though it took me a bit to decide if I liked the fabric colour at all. It isn`t my favorite, and it seems like most repro kits come with this colour. It`s a bit orange-y for my taste, but I think it will be fine when it`s finished. I hope, anyway.

Top portion using DMC Coton a Broder Bottom portion. 35 ct dyed linen and DMC floss, kit from The Scarlet Letter.

I have no idea why the layout is like this, I guess Blogger is doing it`s own thing. Til next time, keep stitching ladies!
