Just a quick update

This is my progress on my SANQ sampler.

I haven`t been stitching that much lately, but here is what I have done. I am liking how it is turning out for the most part, but I have to make a decision on what the next band will be. I am thinking of maybe putting in one from one of Darlene O`Steens` samplers as a tribute to her. She was the major influence on my passion for samplers, and has been a role model for me in her inexhaustible research of samplers and stitches.

I added Arrowhead stitch to the grape clusters as Darlene had on the cover of the new expanded version of her book The Proper Stitch. I am not sure if I will do the grapes that are blank with detached buttonhole as she did though, it isn`t one of my favorite stitches. I may do satin stitch instead.

Hopefully I can make quicker progress on this...I think my stitchy mojo is coming back. It has been somewhat absent of late.
Keep stitching ladies!
