Breaking my own rules

I try not to post personal stuff here, on the theory that people have enough of their own troubles without listening to me blather about mine. However, I am breaking that rule and posting something personal...and it is GOOD news (at least I think so). I also don`t have much stitchy stuff to report as I have been visited by flocks of frogs lately (no, I don`t think that a group of frogs is really a flock, but as I don`t know what they are called, i`m sticking with flock).

On December the 24th, in front of the Christmas tree and with our furbabies as witnesses, my fiancee Andy and I got married. Just us and the JOP, quick and quiet. We were in our jeans and sneakers, and it was just perfect. Sorry, it`s not the greatest pic (Of me, I mean, I hate my photos) but here we are! It`s been a long road full of paperwork potholes, but we made it! The paperwork and money grabbing by the gov`t is not finished yet, but at least we are doing it together. He is a lovely sweet man....i`ve never been so happy!!!!
PS: This is sooooo embarassing....I recently enabled comment moderation and thought I would get a notice in my gmail. I didn`t realize I had to check my dashboard here at Blogger. Thanks everyone who commented (except the porn spammers that I deleted. What`s up with that all of a sudden, anyway???)

Hey MJ! I actually didn't dye it myself. It was a piece of over dyed fabric from Silkweaver that I found in the local stitch shop. When you get settled and have a chance, come north up I-25 to Littleton. There you will find a wonderful shop called Fancy Mats and More!
