Well...i`m still here.

I know it has been ages since I posted. I haven`t been stitching either, I lost my stitch mojo big time, but I am once again feeling the stirrings of interest in needlework. I have picked up my Drawn Thread Marriage Sampler again, and am making a bit of progress with it. I really want to finish this and get it on the wall. After all it`s only been...oh my, 3 years or so I have been working on it. I hope to have a progress pic in this post, but if not, there will be one coming soon. (ETA: Been awhile since I wrote this, I am almost finished )

I have accepted the fact that I will have mood swings when it comes to needlework. At times I live breathe and eat it, at times I can`t be bothered with it. I know I have depression, and it does affect how I function. I do take meds, but still struggle, so there you are. If I disappear, I will be back sometime.
This is my progress as of today...I have left out the verse and subbed my own. I also left out the band with the clouds and cranes...I felt like the sun in that row kind of dominated the sampler too much.

A closer look...sorry for the hoop crease...
I am thinking I need to put something each side of our names and date to fill out the row. Any suggestions? Leave it as is?

As always, keep stitching ladies!

Glad to see you back again. I was worried. Hope the meds help to cope with the sharp edges of depression so you can see a glimpse of sun and joy every day.
Your sampler is beautiful! Perhaps you could repeat parts of the flowers beneath the house on the empty spaces. Change them a bit till you are content with the result.

So glad to see an update. I completely understand about the needlework.
This is a beautiful piece and you are close to finishing!
Hugs!

It's great to see you post. What a wonderful sampler - I'm hoping to stitch it myself sometime. You could perhaps repeat some of the animals and birds from the top band next to the names?
Depression is a b***h - I hope the meds do their work properly. Hugs.
